I made 12 dozen cupcakes for my sister to give to her friends and co-workers and packaged them in boxes of four each, with one of each flavor:
Red Velvet with vanilla buttercream colored green with Christmas light sprinkles
Coconut with coconut buttercream with shredded coconut and snowflake sprinkles
Gingerbread with lemon cream cheese with mini-gingerbread men sprinkles
Chocolate mint with white chocolate ganache with mini-candy cane sprinkles and a small candy cane standing upright in the center

Turkey cake
My sister sent me this picture a while back when I was making my own turkey cake for Thanksgiving. This is a cake shaped like a turkey at Green Wise (Publix's answer to Whole Foods). It is difficult to see, but underneath the legs on the right hand side, the "stuffing" is actually trail mix!
Walmart cake
Okay so this is how I imagine this conversation went:
Walmart Employee: 'Hello 'dis Walmarts, how can I help you?'
Customer: ' I would like to order a cake for a going away party this week.'
Walmart Employee: 'What you want on the cake?'
Customer: 'Best Wishes Suzanne' and underneath that 'We will miss you'.

Thanksgiving Cake
My sister sent me some pictures of "turkey" cakes from Publix Green Wise Market, and I got inspired to make a second cake for Thanksgiving. This is a pumpkin pie cake (recipe from Cooking Light - had made it a few years ago) with cream cheese icing.
Pumpkin Cake
I made this cake from a mold that I got at Williams-Sonoma. Originally, I made it for the Holiday Bazaar, but putting the two halves together to make it stick together was very difficult, and Derek ate the stem from one of the halves thinking it was a "mistake". So I tried to frost it and stuck a pretzel in for a stem and took it to a friend's house for Thanksgiving. The recipe was also from Williams-Sonoma and was very dense, too much like a bread in my opinion.
