I also made these for my friend's co-worker's retirement party.

Fish Cupcakes
This is one dozen of three dozen cupcakes I made this weekend!
The first dozen was key lime pie for my friend Edina's friend Nikki's birthday.
The second dozen was chocolate with mint icing and mint crisp M&Ms for my sister's boyfriend Ian's birthday.
The third dozen (pictured here) were red velvet with cream cheese icing and blue fish made of white chocolate for Captain George.
Later this week I'll be making one dozen carrot cake and one dozen chocolate with a "Disney" theme for a friend's co-workers retirement.

broken heart cupcakes
I made these carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for my friend Lisa's birthday at work. She has not been having luck with match.com lately, so we decided to post pictures of her face on a picture of a nun and write a resignation letter to match.com along with these cupcakes which have a heart with a line drawn through it.

70s cupcakes
I made these cupcakes for a 70s theme birthday party in my office (3 people who were born in the 70s had birthdays around the same time). They are marbled blue and white (vanilla flavored) cupcakes with pink, blue, and purple frosting and smiley faces made of chocolate.

The cupcakes are vanilla with blue marbles and will have yellow smiley faces with multiple colors of frosting.

These cupcakes were made by my friend Sharon's six year old daughter, Eliza. Each one is truly a work of art!
cupcake bumblebee
This is the bumblebee cupcake. It is chocolate with a yellow buttercream with sprinkles and a chocolate bumblebee.
Recently I have also made cupcakes with the QVC logo and 130 cupcakes for the BAK Middle School of the Performing Arts with royal blue chocolate stars and silver sprinkles (school mascot and colors).

These are some cupcakes that i made back in January for my friend Laurenne's nephew's first birthday. The theme was bugs, and I made butterflies, dragonflies, centipedes, and ladybugs (and bumblebees not shown here). These particular cupcakes were vanilla cake, dipped in chocolate glaze, with red and green sprinkles with a chocolate bug on top.

For Mother's Day, I did a kids' cupcakes class at Williams Sonoma. Pictured here are Lilly and Logan, one of my co-worker's kids.
Sea Tow Cupakes
I made these for a friend's sister's husband's work. Obviously, he works for Sea Tow, and I made the logo in chocolate on coconut and lemon cupcakes (coconut pictured here).

Giant cupcakes
I made two of these giant cupcakes, both using the giant cupcake pan available at Williams-Sonoma. The cake is chocolate, and the bottom half is covered with italian buttercream and glazed in chocolate. The top half is italian buttercream. The one of the left was for my friend Shani at Williams-Sonoma who is moving to Naples, and the one on the right was for my sister's birthday.
Amy in kitchen
This is a picture of my sister in her kitchen on the day of the Grandview Heights HIstoric Home Tour. I made 250 miniature cupcakes in three flavors/colors that complimented her decor: lemon, creamsicle (orange vanilla) and chocolate mint.

Monkey cupcakes
I made these cupcakes for my friend Sara's birthday. She likes monkeys. I copied Julius, the monkey from Paul Frank.
Easter Cake
I made this cake for Williams-Sonoma to display in store. They are having a nationwide contest, and the winner gets a trip to San Francisco for 2, so keep your fingers crossed that I will win!

Everglades cookies
I made these for my sister's friend's bachelorette weekend. They are going bike riding in the Florida Everglades, so I made bikes, alligators, and the state of Florida.
Mom's Birthday Cake
I made this cake for my mom's birthday. One of her favorite candy bars is a Mounds, so I made four layers of coconut cake. Between each layer is melted chocolate that dried hard to give it a crunch and coconut filling. Then I lightly frosted it with coconut buttercream and coated it with chocolate glaze. I also made a similar cake for my friend Angie's birthday but combined her two favorite flavors, chocolate and hazelnut. I made a three layer hazelnut cake. Between each layer I used the same melted chocolate that dried hard to give it a crunch and a nutella whipped cream filling. I lightly frosted it with a nutella Italian buttercream and topped it with the same chocolate glaze.

Grand Marnier cupcakes
The cake and frosting have Grand Marnier, and the cake was "glazed" with Grand Marnier before putting on the icing. On top of each is a gold dragee.
Kahlua cupcakes
I also made these mini-cupcakes for NYE. Both the cake and icing have chocolate, coffee, and kahlua in them. I dusted the top with "gold dust".
Mojito cupcakes
I made these mini-cupcakes for my sister's friend's NYE party. The cake had rum, lime, and mint, and the icing had rum and lime. I sprinkled them with gold sugar and put a sprig of mint on each.
